i never thot i would belong there, to be honest. i was scared for coals, kinda dreading it. and yeah, sometimes i ponned alpha meetings, sorry. but now, i kinda regret it. coals passed too fast eventhough i wanted to leave on the first day already. the talk we had when we all were in that serious mood, in our dorms, when we got angry at bravo for being so noisy? yeah, i was thinking.i really am gonna miss alpha so so so much.reading leena's post on alpha-bet (it's clickable!) made me realise what a great team we were. at first i didnt think we deserved that award for being most enthu cause we certainly wasn't.but actually, after facing so many dissapointments, failures, feeling dejected, sad, angry, frustrated and tired, the fact that we still could cheer on one another and make it through was proff we were enthu about coals! :D alpha is love!<br> yeps, i hope we'll continue to be friends, and not just hi-bye like amreeta said. peiyan i know you like me ok, you said it! so you better not ignore me when we bump into each other. remember our meetings in the student lounge? remember how we were always finding excuses for not doing camp work cause we were "bonding"? haha, yes and how we would always get frustrated at the end of the meetings that we would have like 12 mins serious work to come up with all those bimbotic cheers? yep, i counted.remember the leopard tail, eventhough i wasn't there? and alphastar's broken thorn? remember always wasting time by cam-whoring together, catching at the spiderweb, dinner at kfc, getting scolded together, getting praised together? i still remember stupid leena saying so ugly after i fixed her thorn!remember our showers together, our emoing together, and using red towels, headbands, bandanas and shirts together. through it all, i learnt things about myself. i learnt that i can't slap. :D for one so...how bout an alpha promise? to continue to remain friends and always remember our times together? A-OKAY? ( i know i'm not an instructor )

days passed, time flew,

Sharianty asked me if this blog should be closed down since Coals is over, but Alpha's here forever, alright? It won't be closed down, don't worry. Now..as your group motivator (pro right!), i shall say something. Oh my this is gonna be long. Alpha! You must read it alright.

Do you all remember our very first meeting at the back of 2I? How Kaushi was obsessed with fish bones then. How we introduced each other and started talking.

Do you all remember i volunteered as your movitator only because Amreetaa was NCC? How we were the last group to choose someone. How i forced myself to stand up because no one in Alpha stood up. How i thought i wouldn't do a good job. But i've been through so much as Alpha's motivator, i really understand all of you much better now in the process of planning meetings and stuff we need to get and so on. How i never regret being your motivator.

Do you all remember our meetings in the student lounge where we would gossip and tell stories to each other. Though not much work's done during our meetings, we'd never fail to bond. How we hid under the zebra blanket and enjoyed each other's company?

Do you all remember, how we would give really stupid and dumb ideas for our campfire item and cheer and so on that we'd laugh at each other but still do it in the end no matter what?

Do you all remember declaring that gryphon and alpha are best coals mates and how we 2 had a friendly cheer competition but things never got serious? How we challenged them to see how loud we could be, how stupid we look when we did our tarzan cheer at first but didn't care.

Do you all remember telling each other ghost stories? How we ended up scaring ourselves instead. How we wondered what would happen if we were to see anything at the campsite.

Do you all remember our 5 BTCs in school, when we were still really quiet at that time? How we were so quiet during campfire singing. How we did our embarressing catwalk forfeit along the stone pavements? How we were so soft when cheering?

Do you all remember Alpha outing after dragonboating when we bonded so much?

Do you all remember rushing to label our masking tape and helping each other stick them back? How we panicked when we ran out of masking tape, but managed to find a solution.

Do you all remember how the instructors first told us that our campfire item wasn't really good? How we improved on it and how much effort we put in to practise, how we proved them wrong, how we showed them our improvement on our item.

Do you all remember our inside jokes and conversations we had? How we never failed to laugh with each other around.

Do you all remember, just 3 days ago, how scared we were on the way to our campsite? How we were so scared of all the unexpected things that would happen.

Do you all remember how badly we wanted to go home after day 1? How we thought day 1 sucked, how badly we screwed up day 1.

Do you all remember after campfire night, no one wanted to leave the camp, how everyone began enjoying themselves again, how we performed our campfire opening cheer, how we cheered pei yan on, how we were quite sad that our instructors weren't cheering for us when we did our cheer unlike all the other groups, how we enjoyed campfire night so much.

Do you all remember that we felt like giving up and screwing up our pre campfire performance because we got scolded for the poor job of our outdoor cooking? But how we pulled through that 5 mins, doing the best we had ever performed.

Do you all remember high elements when we cheered each other on? How we pulled through and made it through each station. How we survived high elements as one Alpha.

Do you all remember meal times, when we complained about the quantity of the food? How peiyan would tell us jokingly that she'll go home and complain to her daddy. How we cheered our meal cheers and how fast we would try and eat our food for fear we'd be late.

Do you all remember since day 1 of BTC that we often didn't answer our instructors? How there was always awkward silence betwen us and them. How we want all our instructors to know we love all 3 of them but just do not know how to express it. How we gave a cake and card each to them.

Do you all remember our Alpha star and red towel which the instructors painstakingly sewed our names onto? How we used it for our camp, how much our instructors have done for us just that sometimes we don't see it but we do appreciate all their efforts?

Do you all remember how we racked our brains thinking of cheer because we thought none of us was creative and talented? How we thought line by line for our cheer and thinking of steps and actions to go along.

Do you all remember how our flag got locked up in the student lounge just a few days before Coals? How we panicked and look for several teachers but none wanted to help us get the keys. How we wanted to break the door. how we wanted to break the lock. How we wanted to remove the grill and climb in to get our flags. How we wanted to climb to the top and go through the ceiling. How we put in effort in making our flag and getting all the stuff for decoration.

Do you all remember the group hugs we had with Alpha and Alpha instuctors? How we held each other close to our hearts, how we know that deep in our hearts, we love Alpha and our instructors so much nothing can describe. How we promised to take care of Alpha star and how we promise not to let our instructors down.

Do you all remember that one period when i was so angry with Alpha i almost gave up on you all because i was so frustrated that i was doing so much for you all alone with some others? How i was so angry because not all of you contributed and replied my smses. How i saw the disappointment in all of you. How sharianty told me i shouldn't give up. How i tried to get you all moving cos only some people would be cheering and talking?

Do you all remember...all remember, how we bade farewell to each other just now? How we promised each other that we'll still be friends and stay as one Alpha, forever.

To our instructors: We love you very very much. Forever and forever, we'll never forget our friendships forged. We won't forget all that you've done for us. Though we may not be as sweet as other groups or touching to you all, i hope we haven't let you down throughout our entire Coals journey. You 3 will always be part of Alpha, and sorry for the times we let you down, when we would sense your disappointment in us. We're really thankful for you 3, instructor Amanda, Elisha and Yvonne.

To Alpha: You all have been brilliant groupmates, so much so that i can't explain why. Incredible. This experience is never to be forgotten, alright? I am sorry if i havent done a great job as your motivator and i wont be surprised if you all blame me for giving you all up. But yup, i've tried my best to get our group going, and now that we've won the most enthusiastic award, credit goes to you all.

And i never knew i could say this much. I love you alpha!

OHOH, I have ALPHASTAR! :DDDDD
I research on how to take care of a cacti, cause my plants always die. D:

Here are some tips on taking care of your potted cacti.
Water
You may think that cacti are robust plants since they can live , right? But potted cacti are in need of more water than your outdoor cacti. Just make sure that the soil is moist. But don’t overwater!
Cacti need lower pH (a bit acidic) water. Unfortunately, tap water has high pH (alkaline) levels. What you can do is to set aside water for you cacti for 2 days in an open container before using it for watering. This allows some chemicals found in tap to evaporate.

Plant Food
Dilute the plant food. Fertilizers tend to distort your plants. You might also want to re-pot your cactus. A good soil mix is 1 part sharp sand and 1 part peat humus.

Light
With enough light, your potted cactus will surely live and flower. You can place it near a window where it can get ample amount of light. Don’t expose it to bright and burning light. Cacti can get sunburn too! :O

Ohkay, Alpha, I expect all of you to come for a while tmr! It's a full day meeting, 10am to 8pm. I don't want to stone there with Leena and wait and wait and in the end, the attendance it's not good. So you tmr! Get some sleep, COALS in 3days! :O

Hey Alpha! :)

Our next meetings will be on tuesday 10am, thursday 10am, and on friday before our auditions, but the timing hasn't been confirmed. There may be some changes to our timing, but i will try and request for no changes to be done, kay. Haha.
